Construction
The conveyor system is made up of modules. A roller conveyor is built up by placing several modules in a row.

Operation
The goods are transported by gravity to the end of the conveyor whereby the speed is determined by various factors: weight of goods being transported, the dimensions and material on the underside of the goods, type of roller used and the pitch between the rollers, incline of the conveyor, etc
Sections
The roller bed consists of extruded, anodised aluminium C-sections (MA10) measuring 120 x 30mm. These also serve as a load-bearing element and as a fixing point for the floor supports, the plastic cover, guard rails, etc. As an option a low section (MA72/MA73) suited to the standard section is available, e.g. for the lateral movement of the goods being transported.
All screws and the extremities of the spindles are housed in the hollow space of the aluminium section to protect them from damage. This hollow space can also be used to lay control and pneumatic cables.
Rollers
As a standard, galvanised universal rollers belonging to the 1700 series with an outside diameter of 50mm and a gauge of 1.5mm are used.
Floor supports
The floor supports are made of extruded, anodised aluminium sections measuring 30mm x 60mm. They are fixed in the grooves at the beginning and end of the conveyor, as well as at the joints of the modules, with steel connecting elements and T-headed screws. The feet can be adjusted by ±50mm to level out any unevenness in the floor.
