Flap gate
When the conveyor is very long and uninterrupted from one end to the other, flap gates make it possible to have access to racking, work stations, machines, etc. They can also be used as emergency exits in dangerous situations.
Conveyor modules are equipped with gas-powered pressure spring allowing them to be raised without effort. Once the maximum position of the module has been reached, the pressure spring holds it in place until it is manually returned to the original position.
Construction
Special supports with bearings in the joints for the flap mechanism. These supports also house the gas pressure spring
Homing plates and handles (on both sides) for raising and lowering.
Floor supports
The floor supports are made of extruded, anodised aluminium sections measuring 30mm x 60mm. They are fixed in the grooves at the beginning and end of the conveyor, as well as at the joints of the modules, with steel connecting elements and T-headed screws. The feet can be adjusted by ±50mm to level out any unevenness in the floor.
