Chain transfer (converter)
Chain transfer is used whenever the goods are transferred to another conveyor placed at an angle of 90°. This movement is made possible by lifting the goods from the rollers with Duplex chains projecting through the rollers and the subsequent traversing movement.
For the traversing movement, the Duplex chains are driven by a gear motor.
The enormous power needed for the lifting movement - and which must be uniformly applied - is achieved with a compact pneumatic cylinder or with a gear motor.
