Belt curve conveyor
The 180° belt curve conveyor is used where goods have to change direction in a cramped area. The 180° belt curve is a revolutionary solution in order-picking areas, e.g. for mail-order companies, the book trade or the pharmaceutical industry. The tight diversion of cartons on the curve table means that order-picking belt conveyors can be installed next to each other. As a result of the continual flow of the cartons, a higher flow rate is achieved.
The belt curve conveyor is driven by a proportionally pressured friction wheel fitted below the return strand and powered by a three-phase motor. The belt is kept at the outer radius by spring-loaded pressure elements. The belt is redirected by a cylindrical tail pulley allowing close links to follow-on conveyors.
