Technical description

The Carrier-Push-Back system is an assembly of carriers that are joined together and moved on rails. The steel profiles forming the rails are inclined to ensure the pallets return to operator's side of the system. The carriers differ in height.

The first pallet is placed on the highest carrier. When the next pallet is stored, those pallets already in the channel are pushed one space back. After that the next pallet to be stored is placed on the next lower carrier. The last pallet is placed directly on the steel rails.

When the first pallet is removed the other pallets move down automatically. Since the carriers are joined together, single pallet hang-ups are not possible. This makes it safe and easy to operate.

The Carrier-Push-Back system can accommodate up to 6 Palettes in depth. Every carrier runs on a dedicated pair of steel rails. This enables the total height to be kept very low. In fact, this system has the lowest build-in-height on the market. This allows for extra lift clearance and may even mean the difference of an extra level. The movement of the pallets is not influenced by their quality.

Carrier-Push-Back rails

Carrier-Push-Back - The profile used for the tracksThe rails used for the tracks is a closed box section that prevents dirt and damp getting in. The carriers are powder coated in light grey, RAL 7035, the rails are hot dip galvanized. This makes the Carrier-Push-Back system suitable for use in cold stores.

The height of the structure depends on the number of pallets to be stored:

  6 Pallets 5 Pallets 4 Pallets 3 Pallets 2 Pallets
Height of H: 162mm 148mm 138mm 128mm 121mm

Racking specification:

The rack can be supplied in any frame depth up to 1300mm. Angle beams with a height of between 90mm and 120mm - depending on the structural calculation - must be fitted at the front and at the rear of the rack. Assembly of the system is very easy and quick: the pre-assembled rails for the Carrier-Push-Back system are bolted to the angle beams, the intermediate box beams only serve as support.
